You can leave the USB disk plugged as long as you want but alway remember to safely remove the disk from the software level before unplugging the USB disk.

Is it ok to keep my usb hub plugged in to my macbook all the time?

Yes, you can leave the USB hub connected without issues for your MacBook. Just keep in mind that some of the devices you plug in to the hub will draw power from the Mac; if you're running on battery power, this will lessen your time between needing charges.

Why do you send usb connection to charge jwin jb-th130, why not receptical plug. do i plug into computer and how long to charge?

The standard connection is a USB plug (mini or micro USB style). You can plug it into your computer or any wall plug that has a USB connector on it (the bigger rectangle shaped plug like your computer has). The USB standard is 5 volts so if it comes from your computer or a wall adapter or your car charger - as long as it is a USB connector and likely says 5 volts, they will all work the same way.

Every headset I have worked with seems to charge about 50 to 75% in 2 hours (it is ok to do a quick, partial charge). Leave it plugged in overnight for full charge (8 to 12 hours).

Ok well maybe the drivers just got mixed up,try this below, remember you will have to reinstall ALL USB devices again, so have all the drivers ready, I put all my drivers in a driver directory, so whenever i must reinstall, i have the drivers for all my devices at hand, under one directory.

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers To remove and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps: Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK. Click the Hardware tab. Click the Device Manager button. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers. Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers node, and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time. Restart the computer, and then reinstall the USB controllers. Plug in the removable USB storage device, and then test to make sure that the issue is resolved.
However often when a USB dongle device is jostled in and out, it can. and does, "Spike' the USB port, and sometimes it will "Blow" the USB inline protection fuses, on the motherboard. This is evidenced by NO Voltage at all on the port. If this is so, then you need to get this repaired. As a workarround, one can hookup a USB Hub, and connect all else up through that.

Disconnect from cigar lighter and connect to the USB port of your computer or any AC adapter over night. By morning the battery will have recharged and be ready for use. This seems to happen with the GPS is left connected to a vehicle's cigar lighter for an extended period of time. You can do this USB / AC adapter recharge procedure as often as needed.

I hope this helps!
