Can you give a a free license key for avira antivirus?

All you have to do is go here and read the Note. There you will find a link to a free license key. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/AntiVir-Personal-Edition.shtml
I have used Avira AntiVir, AVG, and Avast. Of the three IMO based on my experience, Avast is the best free one you can get. I highly recommend Avast which you can get for free here. http://download.cnet.com/Avast-Free-Antivirus/3000-2239_4-10019223.html

Download older version of Avira Antivir

Why xp SP1??.

If you dont update your OS, even with the best Antivirus you will be in big trouble with security breaches/holes.

IF your copy of windows will not pass the WGA then you are out of luck with Avira . Avira needs SP2 so you could try AVAST, its min requirements are.
Processor Pentium 3, 128 MB RAM, 100 MB of free hard disk space
Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7 (32/64 bit)

Antivirus

Antivirus is basically a protection against viruses....

Basically it protects your pc from worms, trojans and viruses...

A computer worm is a self-replicating computer program. It uses a network to send copies of itself to other nodes (computerterminals on the network) and it may do so without any userintervention.

A Trojan horse, also known as a trojan, is a piece of malware which appears to perform a certain action but in fact performs many different forms of codes.

A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer without permission or knowledge of the user.
