Question about Speedo Aquabeat LZR Racer 2GB Waterproof MP3 Player MP3 Player

1 Answer

After having unit reprogrammed by CRSUSA aka aquabeat the unit was returned but without my original play list. When I attempted to restore playlist thru drop and drag it would not accept. I disconnected the unit and attempted to turn it back on with earphones attached and it will no longer turn on. I attempt to reset the unit by depressing the reset on back of unit but no sucess. Is this product a "turkey" as it is no longer on the Speedo website?

There are still many of these for sale. I have seen about 45 sites that carry them for $80-90
Many electronics seem to have problems after being updated. When you pressed the reset button, did you press and hold it for about 10 full seconds?
If that did not work, then you may either have to have it re-updated or have a rollback done which goes back to the previous firmware version. If it is not turning on at all, you may want to have a new battery placed in it or at least have it tested. If it turns out that the battery is good, then it is the firmware that is the problem.

How do I correct a saved play list that's showing a yellow circle with a question mark?

You have deleted a song/movie/file. If you replace the file, play list will go back to normal. If you cannot recover the item, remove it from your playlist, and it will also return to normal.

My ipod classic 30gb is stuck on one playlist

If you have dropped it, it is probably damaged beyond repair. Attempt a factory restore via iTunes. If this does not work, your device will not be able to play other playlists.

Speedo aquabeat 3g mp3 player is not charging. The LED light turns to green, but when I unplug it it won't work.

You are plugging the headphones into the unit and then trying to power up the unit, correct? The Aquabeat will not power up unless the headphones are connected to the unit and disconnecting them will shut the unit off.

Need Creative Zen user manual. No longer on the website. I really just need to know how to create playlists if you can help me with that.

  • Creating playlists for Creative Zen MP3 player
  1. Step 1 Turn your Creative Zen MP3 Player on and add music to its hard drive if you haven't already. Without music on your player, you won’t be able to select tracks for a playlist.
  2. Step 2 Select "Music Library" from the Main Menu. The Main Menu should appear as the first menu when you turn your device on.
  3. Step 3 Select "Now Playing" from the options available, then press the Options button.
  4. Step 4 Select "Save as Playlist" from the list of options. This will save the tracks you have listed currently as a playlist that can be reloaded later.
  5. Step 5 To play a playlist back, go to the Main Menu, select the playlist and click

Can't create playlists on my zen x fi

I tried some suggestions posted here, and after some testing, I can now give you step-by-step instructions to create a playlist on your Creative Zen.

First, you need to think of the NOW PLAYING list as the "selected songs to be added to a playlist".

So, to start clean, let's empty out the NOW PLAYING list as follows:
1) from the MUSIC menu, select NOW PLAYING
2) when a song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
3) select REMOVE ...
4) select REMOVE ALL
Now, the NOW PLAYING list is empty.

Now, you need to select (mark) the songs you want to add to your new playlist:
1) go to an individual song
2) click the context menu, and select ADD TO SELECTED
3) go to another desired song, and do step 2) again
4) repeat until done

Now, to create a NEW playlist, go to the MUSIC menu, then:
1) select NOW PLAYING
2) it will show you the first song that you selected
3) press the Right button, to scroll through all of the other songs you selected
4) when any song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
5) select SAVE AS PLAYLIST (this refers to ALL songs in your NOW PLAYING list)
6) type the name for your new playlist, and click checkmark
ALL of the songs in the NOW PLAYING list are now saved as your New playlist.

From the MUSIC menu, select PLAYLISTS. You will see the name of the playlist that you just created. When you select that playlist, you will see the list of songs you had selected.

Please note that these songs are still in your NOW PLAYING list also. To create a another New playlist, you will first need to empty out the NOW PLAYING list as you did above.

I hope that helps.

Enjoy!

Philips GoGear SA3245 - Playlists Not Showing Up on Player

Have solved this problem on GoGear syncing with WMP 11 by going to options on the device itself, then go to the "settings" option, scroll down to "PC Connection Preferences", from here you will select the check box saying "MTP" then back out of options and connect your device and go back to your WMP 11 and drag your playlists to the syncing area and resync your device. You should then be able to see your playlists under the playlist option in music along with the "playlist on the go" playlist.

Hope this will help!

Rearrange songs on the SanDisk

Creating Playlists on the Sansa M240

The Sansa M240 is a decent device, but if you are like many, you have not been able to create playlists. The instructions with the player and the maker’s website offer little help. Here a solution that I found on-line with some additional detail. The step by step instructions for even those with little computer savvy.

1. power up your M240 player without connecting to your computer. Scroll thru the menu to the “settings” menu. Select “USB”, deselect “auto detect” then select “MSC”. (I don’t know if this step is critical, but I picked up this suggestion from another site)

2. Power down the MP240 and using the cable supplied with your player, connect to the USB port of your computer. The display will show “MSC” when connected.

3. If you have not already done so, download the songs you want to include on your playlist from your computer to the M240. Any number of media player software packages will allow you to copy or burn your songs to a “portable media device” for this step.

4. After your songs are downloaded, on your computer, go to “My Computer” and open the "Sansa M240" icon. On the explorer task bar, select “view”> “details”. You should see several standard folders and all your songs. (Note I have used this for both .wma and .mp3 formats and have intermixed them in the playlist)

5. On your computer, open a new Notepad document and save it to your desktop.
Name it whatever you like, but it has to have “.m3u” as a file extension when you save it.
For example I named mine…. playlist1.m3u, playlist2.m3u, playlist3.m3u.

6. Next, in this newly saved notepad document, type this exactly on the very first line < #EXTM3U > without the brackets.

7. Now, find your first song in the open M240 folder, place your cursor on it, right click and select "rename". When the song title is highlighted hit control + C or "Copy" the entire title, being careful not to change anything. Now place your cursor immediately after the #EXTM3U text, hit return and paste the title of your first song directly below it with NO line space in between.

8. Repeat the steps to copy the title of your next song from the M240 folder. When copied, place your cursor immediately after the previous song title copied in the step above. Hit return Twice to create a single line space after the song title and paste in the next song title at the beginning of the line. Repeat this process til you have built your playlist.

8. After you’ve entered your last song title, it should look something like this. (Either .mp3 or .wma extensions can be used)
-----------------------------
#EXTM3U
First song.mp3

Second song.mp3

Third song.mp3

And so on.mp3
------------------------------
Now, within your notepad playlist document, click File/Save (noting where it was saved) and close the file. Now, find that same original playlist on your computer. Highlight it and copy / paste it onto your M240. I copied mine into a folder called “playlist” on the M240. Then I repeated the process for other playlists, giving each a unique name.

After allowing sufficient time for the file to copy, use the icon in the lower taskbar of your computer to “safely disconnect hardware” to unplug your player. Disconnect the USB cord, power up and your ready to enjoy your playlists.
