Question about Jandy Laars LX Pool Heater / 400,000 BTU / Natural Gas
Hi, i actually support what TN said concerning that the heater should be taken out and changed because the heater is rusted which is why it is leaching copper into the pool water and is this dangerous to your health and skin.
Since you claim to have been using the heater since 2001, nine years of constant water on the heater will definitely make it wear out gradually and one you stop and did not use for over a year, the rusting process began to be more obvious and this will lead to it releasing cooper when it goes back into water again.
Follow the advise of TN for health and safety reason which i think is important....
