Question about LG LRTBC1825T Top Freezer Refrigerator
Are the lights that you are talking about in the controls? When some of the lights are on this is giving you an error code. Could be the thermal fuse has blown which would not allow the unit to go into defrost. If this is the problem, and you unplug it, it will run again for 5-7 hours until it hits defrost cycle again. You will need a service call.

There could one of 3 separate problems going on but without fully knowing what's going on, I can't exactly tell you what to look for. You will probably need a qualified LG technician to see what's going on.

Your problem could be one of the following:
* attachments to compressor (e.g.: relay, capacitor (if applicable) or overload protector)

If the evaporator fan is not running. The fan itself could be faulty or the door operated light/fan switch could be faulty.
If the evaporator fan is running. The fridge is not defrosting and ice has built up on the evaporator and the air is not circulating properly into the fridge compartment. The fan circulates cold air into the fridge and back through the fridge control which is normally just an adjustable flap which allows more or less cold into the fridge depending on the setting. If the fridge is not defrosting, the defrost timer could be faulty or heater element could be blown.
