The capacitors in the samsung 4661 are inferior, this happens to all the ones in this line.
If you are feeling handy and don't want to replace your circuit board, here's what you can do.
Remove the 30 screws on the back of the tv. and the plastic shell will lift off.
There are two boxes, a large almost square one to the left (thats the power board, with the bulging capacitors) and a slightly smaller one to the right. (thats the cpu and circuit board)
You only care about the power board for now.
MAKE SURE YOU TURN OFF YOUR TV FOR AT LEAST 12 HOURS SO YOU DON'T RISK SHOCKING YOURSELF.
Remove the 6 or 7 screws from the metal casing on the left.
To unplug the connectors, either press your fingers at the sides of the connectors and gently lift them off, or pinch them from the small tab in front, and lift them gently off.
Remove the metal casing.
Unscrew the 5 or 6 screws holding down the power board and lift off the power board and take it to any monitor repair shop and ask them to replace your capacitors on this board, with more powerful ones. (usually 16v instead of the low 10v that come with it)
Just tell them its the samsung LNT-4661F and they will know the problem as most people who own this TV have called them.
Or they can google samsung 4661 capacitor kit, to see what capacitors they want to install.
Hope that helps someone, as I had to do it.
But it saved for $400.
