Question about Trust Predator GM-4200 Mouse

Open Question

Hello. I have TRUST predator mouse "Trust Predator GM-4200". Now ill describe the problem: When you move mouse fast from left to right on your mousepad (steelseries QCK), no matter what pad, on table is the same, so when you move fast, the mouse cursor moves where ever it wants. Just like crazy. The same is when i try doing from up to down. It doesn't let me to slide easy, it somehow stucks and starts going anywhere it wants when i move it. I predict it can be problem with laser ? But it is from the first day i bought that mouse. What's the problem with it ?

I need the gamepad's driver for Windows XP.

Try that website to see if you can find a driver for XP. Honestly, if it is newer, you may NOT have compatibility directly and you may have to use XPAD or something similar to map the controller.

Hello, Here's the solution to your problem, you have to configure the games you're playing for the joystick to work, I believe all games have this option, ussualy in the "configure keyboard and mouse" options menu, click on any funcion you want your joystick to use for each button, and then press the button you want for that function, do that with all buttons of the joystick you want to use, some games need the joystick axis to be configured, just click on left/right and move your joystick in the desired direction, same procedure to up/down, if your joystick has a throttle wheel, do the same for it (if needed).
Procedure is simple and most games has small variants of this procedures I gave you, but they are simple to figure out.
Hope my solution helps, have a nice day :)

needing them or not , try going to the manufacturer web page , finding a download for the gamepad that suits win 7 and down load it
win 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft so any late plug and play (pnP) units will not get win 7 to search for a driver

I have just bought a new mouse for my computer, un packed and connected the mouse to my computer as instructed. switch on computer mouse does nothing ,will not move cursor

It will need drivers, to install drivers use the bundled CD and install from there, if you dont have one the you can get drivers from here

if it does not work after installation of drivers then you need to replace it.
Good Luck, and do rate the solution if helps

Trust TB 4200

I found it difficult to obtain full screen, However from the presure test I found it impossible to to draw a straight line with a ruler without it changing line thickness. So its not for me I am going back to the old tracing way ,then scanning the result, Look out for my Trust 4200 on Ebay.

Thank you for your efforts, worst product I have ever purchased for my computer, John Akam
