Question about HP Deskjet 6940 InkJet Printer

1 Answer

My HP Deskjet 6940 suddenly refused to print--there are three articles in the queue, and the middle orange light in the second row beneath the green lighted top button is flashing. How do I get this thing to work? Thank you--Mitzi Brunsdale

Make sure the covers are closed completly. It will not print unless its closed. If its not that, then check to make sure you didn't knock one of the cables loose inside the printer, and make sure the belt that moves the cartridges is still intact and is not jammed.

HP deskjet 6940 has been installed. I see it in printers and it says ready but nothing will print to it. On the front of the printer there is a blinking orange arrow. What does that mean?

hello, have you tried pressing the orange button to see if machine will continue and pick up paper and print, also are there any other lights that come on, you might want to take paper out, and turn it around, and install back in. and try again. you might also want to change one ink cartridge at a time to see if that also might be the problem
