I believe because you don;t have enough memory

i have used vista inspirat before

i got rid of it because it was making my computer lag a lot too.

just get rid of it and don't "switch to your windows xp style".

then you can keep the vista taskbar w00t

thats all i wanted in the first place so now i have what i want and no lag

try that
i also added more memory to my computer AFTER i lost the lag

so don't think you have to put more memory in your computer

Why high games r laggy

Unfortunately , its most likely not your end that has the problem , all though, it may depend on the actual game and data transmission, For example if you have say an 8mb Service from your Internet Provider , some people who play the game else where may have a lower amount, this is where most lag occurs, their is not much you can do about that , but good house maintenance on your own machine will limit the effect from yours

Pentium 4 with 1.75Ghz available for windows 7?

This should work ok. What version of windows 7 will you using ? Try to have as much as RAM as possible, at least 2GB (not more than 4GB if 32-bit version). Your computer will probably be slower.

Why is my computer still lagging even after I close the game

Sounds like there is some process being run that is eating up a lot of your RAM. One thing to check is that you are using a 64-bit install of windows if you are using 32-bit it won't matter that you have 6gb as you can only use 3gb with it. It could be that you are running 32-bit and 7 is taking up about a gb of RAM while the games (even when closing) take up 2gb or so. So you could be maxing your 3gb on 32-bit.

Hello. i have impentium 4 pc , i dont know what the problem is but every 10 seconds the pc laggs i dont know how to format . if someone could tell me what should i do step by step.

Press control, alt, delete and select task manager. Tell me what programs are currently running when the computer lags. It seems like something is using too many system resources that are running.

Lag lag

Have you tried to review the systems requirements for Windows 7? In case you don't, try to review this system requirements and see if your PC falls in. If not, then its the primary cause of the "lag" computer.

If you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes:
  • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
  • 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
  • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

64 bit?

I run Vista 64 bit with no issues at all. 64 bit is the future of the computer world. If software is made to utilize 64 bit operating systems the speed is quite remarkable. 64 bit Vista is still backward compatible with 32 bit so virtually all programs except for the oldest legacy stuff. Also 64 bit allows you to surpass 32 bit's 3 gigabyte memory barrier. Vista 64 can use up to 128 gigabytes. It may not seem important now ,but at the rate computers evolve it will.
