Question about Logitech Computers & Internet
I assume you have windows.
open start menu
ease of access (also called accessibility on xp)
select on-screen keyboard
its a bit slow but it will get you by until you can fix the problem or get a new keyboard. below are three possible alternative solutions:
1. If it is a wireless keyboard then try to change the channel its a little button on the bottom of the keyboard.
2. If its a wireless keyboard change the batteries.
3. If the above two solutions do not help then either carefully take apart the keyboard and clean everything (if you suspect something was spilled on the keyboard) or if its just an old keyboard then the contacts need cleaning they look like little round rubber dots on the bottom of the keys mashing little grid like symbols on the clear plastic sheets. I usually clean the clear plastic symbol parts with a rubber pencil eraser very gently and the black dots below the keys i clean with just a paper towel. I don't use cleaning solutions and try and keep it all dry. remember less scrubbing is more. Look at the unused keys like z to see how they are supposed to look. and good luck. but its easier just to buy a new one.
