Question about Motorola Mobility ROKR E6 Smartphone
My cell had a problem touch screen in not workinr but keep pad is working
This is in response to the query you have posted in one forum.
I'm not sure if you guys have already got the solution for it.
I also faced the same problem and I could fix it.
It looks like the problem happens when the touchscreen connections to the PCB becomes loose.
You may follow the below procedure to rectify the problem
- Open the back cover and remove the battery.
- Cut a thick paper in the shape of the bettery slot and place it under the battery.
- Close the cover after placing the battery. (You may feel it a bit difficult to close the cover.. but try ...)
This actually push the PCB to the touchscreen connections. Now check if you are facing any more issues..
Mine is working fine after I did this.

The paper thing actually worked.U gotta place a small piece of thick paper in middle part under the battery so that it doensn't touch the circuits( or whatever it is).
Every person who faces this problem should try out the trick.
Thanks a lot!!!

I approached 'Mobile Lab" in Anns arcade, statue, Trivandrum. They replaced the touchscreen for Rs 800/-. But this repairing left a mark on the side of the screen.( I think there is no easyway to remove the touch screen from the phone) It is working fine now.
