Use a clean and dry business card to set the gap. That is almost perfect for the .006" setting.
Good luck!

Poulan BVM200 LE leal blower it about 4 years old and has no spark. It work well last fall. Must the ignition module be replaced. Thanks, Rick

hi rick

if the plug is ok and kill switch and wire have been isolated from the ignition unit

and the earth is good for the armature legs on the coil - then yes the ignition module must be replaced and the air gap set to 0.010 "

a fair bit of work involved in replacing coil in one of these units !!!

ps make sure compression and muffler are ok and have a look up the ex port and check rings / piston and bore for any damage before parting with any cash for new coil

and dont be tempted to use stale fuel mix in your blower it can cause a lubrication fault
resulting i damage to piston / rings etc

Hello I have a POULAN PPB430VS leaf blower No spark. Replaced plug, no luck, replaced the kill switch, no luck, replace coil, no luck. still getting no spark. Do you know the gap on the magneto points....

Should be about .010 magneto to pickup gap. But leave the wire to ignition module loose from switch at the module, as wire could be grounded.
