Question about JVC CH-X1100RF 12-Disc CD Changer

2 Answers

My ch-x11 changer has a reset 2 code. i tried unpluging it and pluging it back and then holding the eject button at least 3 seconds to reset. the changer makes a movement when reset but when it tries to load a cd it appears to drag and then the reset code reappears. any help? is the repair cost worth it or should i just buy a new one. it has been working perfectly since I bought it until i moved it from my back seat to the trunk. Thanx, Greg

not sure what this response means. is this something i can fix or do i have to send it in to the repair shop. i don't mind paying for repair as long as it is not going to be more cost effective to replace

Hello,

There is no site or organization willing to give you a stereo code for free. Some amount of money will be charged in exchange for the radio code.

Radio unlock code can be gotten from the below link:

http://www.radio-code.com/

Also the process to follow in order to successfully unlock the stereo is stated in the link.

In addition this link claims to generate stereo unlock codes for free, you can give it a trail as it might work for you.

Take care.

    Hello,

Am sorry,I did not get that right, since you have try to reset your device and it behaves as if the reset procedure was accepted but yet re-appear again, the problem could be with the mecahanism of the system, the mechanism of the CD may be malfunctioning and need to be diagnose, i will advice you let a repair person help to diagnose and fix the problem.

The cost of repair should worth repairing the device rather than getting another one.

Hold down the eject button for a few seconds. Then, press the open/close button and load the cd. Holding down the eject button resets everything. It should work on any station.

Disc will not eject

Turn the Wii off and on again after about 20 seconds. Press the eject button again.

Unplug the Wii's AC power supply if Step 1 doesn't work. Wait 1 to 2 minutes, and trying to eject the disc again after turning the Wii back on.

Hold down the eject button for 5 to 10 seconds

Try ejecting the disc with the Wii at different angles. If you hold the Wii upside down, it may help the disc fall out.

Call Nintendo and send the Wii back if non of these steps work. In most cases, a disc stuck in the Wii should be covered by warranty.

Nintendo says to see if power light was coming on, AC adapter reset. unplug from both ends for 90 seconds.Hold eject button for five or 10 seconds.

The CH-X11 needs to be paired with a JVC CD controller. See the downloadable manual at

This unit does not broadcast at the lower FM band.
