You are completely right. There should be lots of parts that can be working properly.
So, You should contact another service other than dell. You may get it fixed for a motherboard (or whatever parts that are not functioning) fee + service I think.
Please check your Warranty coverage and see if there is a notation that indicates the entitlement of accidental damage such as the spilling of liquid. Call Dell Customer Care and see if they can give assistance. Please let me know if the information has been helpful. Thank you.
