My pioneer PD-M426 seems to only play disks 3 and 4 even when the magazine is full, sounds like its trying to spin the disk but failing..??

Please remove the magazine and check if there is warping within the magazine which can cause misalignment. In such a case you will need to replace the magazine . Also check all the CD's within for any damage, sometimes some spurious types can warp with heat.If so it will not load and play. Test in another cd player to confirm. Also clean the optical head within the player if this fails to read or else the optical head can be also weak.

My NAD cd player CD slot goes in and then opens...it does not retain the CD inside to play...

Hello
This fault is due to loose tray loading belt or weak loading motor. You just change the loading belt with same type. Never use a belt more than tight. Use the same size. If belt changing does not help, replace the loading motor. OK.

My cdj1000mk3 just started to act up, i would load up a cd and it would play but sound like it is getting scratched inside the cdplayer, 20 seconds onto the cd, the cd player spits out the cd and the cd on...

I've repaired similar faults in the past and the problem has been foreign objects stuck inside the mechanism - usually pieces of paper / labels that have come off CD's.
Moral of the story - write on your CDr's with a marker pen, DON'T put on sticky labels.

Pioneer cdj 200 wont read discs

Hi, try cleaning the lens with a cleansing disk. if this doesn't produce results, it will confirm a major issue within the lens assembly. you will need to replace the lens assembly in this case. it is unable to track or read in this damaged sate.

Cd player

pioneer cd players have the common problem of losing their laser lens due to the glue that holds it in place going brittle over time. try shaking the player from side to side and upside down to see if you can hear the lens rattling about. if you recover the lens, very carefully slot it back in place and apply a tiny drop of glue (NOT SUPERGLUE) to the outside edge of the lens taking care not to get any on the focus area and leave to dry. all should be well after this. i find UHU GLUE in the yellow tubes do a lasting fix but don't use SUPERGLUE as the fumes will coat the lens.

hope this helps?

Jog wheel problem with pioneer cdj1000

Sounds to me like your platter on the jog wheel is stuck in the engaged position. You have to open up your unit and take apart the jog wheel. In there you will find some spring things (don't quite remember what they look like at the moment or where exactly in the jog wheel they are) and you have to strech them back out so that when your hand isn't on the wheel it will spring it back up. Either that or the switch is busted and if that is the case you have to replace the switch.
