What would be the best compatible 512 MB GPU(with shader 3 or 4) working with P4I45GV 3.00 /P4 2.4 GHZ/1 Gb ram ?

http://www.asrock.com/MB/overview.asp?Model=P4i45GV%20R5.0

Any of them Shubham.

If we are to discern by a few known statements;

1) It is believed in some 'geek communities', that using the same manufacturer of motherboard chipset, and graphics chipset; to be a good thing.

For example an AMD motherboard chipset 'plays well' with an AMD ATI graphics chipset;

Nvidia motherboard chipset 'plays well' with Nvidia graphics chipset.

Intel motherboard chipset with Intel graphics..............no wait,....... there is no Intel graphics chipset, unless it is -> Integrated Graphics.
[ Intel GMA ]

(Integrated Graphics is also said as OnBoard graphics. ON the motherBOARD)

2) DOES NOT MATTER what graphics memory type is used.

Motherboard can use DDR Sdram ram memory, and graphics card can use GDDR5.

Why?
Because the graphics card has it's own Processor, and Ram Memory.

Graphics Processing Unit, or GPU; is the Processor,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPU

Graphics memory is the ram memory.

Operates independent of the system resources.
Processor, and Ram Memory.

The graphics expansion slot on the P4I45GV (P4 i 45GV), is an AGP slot.
Accelerated Graphics Port,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AGP

It will use an AGP 4X, or AGP 8X graphics card.
Use an AGP 8X.

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/search.asp?keywords=agp+graphics+card+512mb

REMEMBER;

1) ALWAYS follow Anti-Static Precautions.

2) INSTALL the software for the graphics card F-I-R-S-T,
(Drivers and 'control panel')

THEN unplug the computer from power, follow Anti-Static Precautions, and Physically plug the graphics card into the motherboard, and install.

3) L@@k at the system requirements (Minimum) for the graphics card.
Specifically the Power Supply requirements. You need a Power Supply with enough Wattage, to handle the graphics card.

[ Handles the graphics card, and -> Motherboard, Processor, Ram Memory, and peripherals; Internal and External.
{Harddrive/s, optical drive/s; Internal
Mouse, Keyboard, external harddrive, etc; External ]

I want to be know what is compatible with AOpen s651m motherboard. i'm kind of an ammature, so please help.

AOpen S651M motherboard:

1) Processor Support:

Uses Intel processors that fit in a Socket 478 processor socket,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_478

The Processor has the contact pins (478 of them), and the processor socket has the socket holes. (478)

The Maximum FSB supported for the processor is 533MHz.
(Front Side Bus, 533MegaHertz)

Processors supported;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_pentium_4_processors#Northwood_.28130.C2.A0nm.29

Start with the Northwood Core models shown in the link above.
The ones that have a Front Side Bus of 533MT/s, and fit in a Socket 478.

The few shown in the next chart, Prescott (90nm), may not work. The voltage requirement.

2) Ram Memory Support:

DDR Sdram that operates at 333MegaHertz, or commonly known as PC2700.

TOTAL Maximum Amount is 2GB.
There are two ram memory slots. The Maximum Amount for EACH ram memory slot is 1GB.

If you only have one ram memory module ('Stick') place it in Slot 1. (DIMM 1)
This is the ram memory slot that is closest to the Processor.

[ The Processor 'sees' ram memory Slot 1 first ]

Graphics Card Support:

The graphics expansion slot on the motherboard is an AGP slot. (Advanced Graphics Port)
It uses the AGP 4X technology.

Above the 3 white PCI slots is the brown AGP slot.
Use AGP 4X/8X graphics cards.
(These types of AGP graphics cards can be used in an AGP 4X slot, or an AGP 8X slot)

Example of a AGP 4X/8X graphics card,

Another one,

,and yet another one,

Compatability

You have an AGP expansion slot for a graphics card.
(Accelerated Graphics Port)
It uses either 1x, 2X, or 4X graphics cards. Since the only AGP graphics cards out there are 4X or 8X, the 1X, and 2X are moot points. (They were also Junk anyway!)

Your AGP graphics slot only supports AGP graphics cards that are 1.5 volts. There are AGP graphics cards out there, that are Universal. Universal in that they will run as AGP 8X, (.8 volts), or AGP 4X, (1.5 volts)

This is an example:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4103516&CatId=318

Don't expect to play the high end new intense games with this. I'm afraid you'll have to update your motherboard, processor, ram memory, and a better graphics card to do that.

(Example? XFX Nvidia nForce 680i LT SLI motherboard, Intel Core2 Duo E8200 cpu, Corsair XMS2 PC6400 ram memory, 1GB x2 of them, (DDR2 at 800MHz), and XFX Geforce 9800GTX+, vid card. (Plus OCZ SteathXStream 600W power supply)
This won't break the bank, and will slam some games to the wall!)

Can i run ati radeon x1650 512 on asus k8N motherboard

Yes you can run the AGP version of the Radeon 1650 pro on your system. It is always best & recommended to upgrade memory in pairs. You could upgrade to `gb by purchasing a 1 gb kit which would be 512 x 2. That way you have a matching pair of RAM modules. As for a cpu upgrade you can go to the Asus website and see what cpu's are supported by your motherboard. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.
