If it is a classic model ..... you open it is easy to remove the wires removed the aluminum plate where the transformer and capacitor also remove brackets this way you will see the diodes (D4015L and SCR´s 2N6507 and TIP110 ) buy them at a sale of electronic and install For this you need a cauting and solder or tin and finally reassemble the same way you remove Any question send me a E-mail cardiotech_me@hotmail.com

Where is the blower motor relay located. Is it in the blower motor control module?

Are there any hvac trouble codes ? Did you check voltage and ground for front blower motor, with controls turned on? I believe the purple wire is voltage and black wire is ground. If good voltage and ground with no blower action, suspect the blower motor.
With auto hvac didn't see relay, saw blower motor control processor, at control processor, did you check voltage and ground?
As far as replacing the blower motor control processor, that appears to be a very involved procedure. I can't lead you step by step to remove and replace.

Can anyone tell me where the fuse and/or relay is located for the blower motor on a 2005 Buick LaCrosse

First off , does it work on any speed ? After looking at a wiring diagram I find out your vehicle has a Blower motor control processor , a module ! That is your problem ,more then likely !
DEFINITION: The blower motor is inoperative in all speed positions.

1

Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?
--
Go to Step 2
Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle

2

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Place the blower switch in each speed position.
Does the blower motor operate in any of the speed positions?
--
Go to Blower Motor Malfunction
Go to Step 3

3

  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Disconnect the blower motor connector.
  3. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  4. Connect a test lamp between the blower motor supply voltage circuit and the blower motor control circuit.
  5. Place the blower motor switch in the minimum speed position.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
--
Go to Step 9
Go to Step 4

4

Test the battery positive voltage circuit of the blower motor control processor for the following:
?€¢
An open

?€¢
A high resistance

?€¢
A short to ground

Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs .
Did you find and correct the condition?
--
Go to Step 15
Go to Step 5

5

Test the ground circuit of the blower motor control processor for an open or a high resistance. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs .
Did you find and correct the condition?
--
Go to Step 15
Go to Step 6

6

Important: Ensure that the blower motor control processor connector and the HVAC control module connectors are connected during this step in order to avoid misdiagnosis.

  1. Measure the voltage from the blower motor speed control circuit at the HVAC control module to a good ground.
  2. With the ignition ON, turn the blower motor to high then to OFF.
Does the voltage measure near the specified values?
5 V OFF
1 V ON
Go to Step 10
Go to Step 7

7

  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Disconnect the HVAC control module.
  3. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  4. Measure the voltage from the blower motor speed control circuit of the HVAC control module to a good ground.
Does the voltage measure near the specified value?
5 V
Go to Step 11
Go to Step 8

8

Test the blower motor speed control circuit of the HVAC control module for the following:
?€¢
An open

?€¢
A short to ground

?€¢
A short to voltage

Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs .
Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 15
Go to Step 10

Why does blower on A/C sometimes work and sometimes don't on my Saturn 2007 aura

Blower motor control processor would be a good guess but I'm not in the guessing business , you need to test power an grounds for lose connections or corrosion , check for DTC'S in the HVAC control panel an if none , there are three different diagnostic flow charts from Saturn service info .
Blower Motor Always On Blower Motor Inoperative Blower Motor Malfunction
Myself I'd say Blower motor malfunction flow chart !

I get an F 11 code on the display

Hi.

F11 is bad connection detected between central control unit (control panel) and motor control unit(control module connected to motor, inside machine).

Try disconnecting power for five minutes and see if this can reset the error.

The repair is carried testing wiring between the two control modules and testing wiring to the motor.

To contact a repairer call the service number listed in the appliance use and care manual.

Regards.

Ginko.

The Lr reading comes on after it fills with water. Had a service man put in a new motor. Still the Lr comes on. Washer only washes about 4 loads a week.

This could bew a Control Board issue or a Motor Control board issue. You really need both known good parts to nail down fore sure..... but I would try the Control Board first. The FAV6800A and FAV9800A Motor is under warranty for 10 years. Did you go through Maytag for the repair service call?

I have three machines in the family and do all my own repairs. From my limited experience the Motor is rock solid and I would question why the repair service replaced it. Did he do any diag's on the Motor....i.e. winding resiatance, place the machine in a test mode page 15 and 16 of the Service Manual. The Control Board and Motor Controller will be out of warranty. I buy them for pennies on the dollar from previous owners that part the machine out on ebay.........Rich

You will need the Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference.

Motor has burning smell. belt and controller were

May I ask witch belt? Most treadmills have two belts, one to drive the gearing and one the patient walks/runs on. The tension and alignment are factors in the load on the motor. Too much tension on the belt the patient stands on will overload the motor. Alignment of both belts is a load factor. Eliminating the belts, tension, belt rollers, and control only power wiring and the motor is left. If the motor is the culprit call a local electric motor repair shop for testing and possible repair. Maybe cheaper than a new motor. : ) : )
