Hi,

If you need to do this for a test purpose:
---Manual Way---
1. fill a couple of line with some kind of data, or open an existing excel sheet.

2. selact all via CTRL+A key combination
3. copy selection CTRL+C
4. Go to the end of selection CTRL+END
5. Paste the copied rows CTRL+V

Repat this until you have 1 million rows.

Note that, you are limited with the resources of your computer. If you do not have enough memory and CPU capacity, your operation may be stop with and excel error.

Microsoft word 2003

I think word 2007 is far better than word 2003.But for those who used 2003 feel much difficulty in understanding the new because GUI of 2007 is entirely different from2003. MS Word 2007 features are quicker and easier to use when compared to MS Word 2003 features
MS Word 2007 retains almost all MS Word 2003 features and presents them in a different, easily accessible manner. It also employs use of contextual menus. These menus are operation specific and do not appear until you are on a job such as using tables or pictures. This means there is no separate Table menu in Office 2007. If you are using a table, you will find contextual commands at your hand such as inserting rows and columns and formatting the table. Similarly to Word 2003, formatting features for an image that you insert will appear only when you are working on an image in the document.
Actually change between MS Word 2003 and MS Word 2007, is its the application's interface. This interface is more convenient to use as it presents commands neatly in an uncluttered fashion. The menu tabs convey what all you can expect to find under it. For instance, if you see the Insert tab, you'll know that it is meant for adding/inserting something to your document. The Review tab conveys that you can get all MS Word 2003 features for document review under the tab.

In short, MS Word 2007 and MS Word 2003 carry almost the same features. It is just that MS Word 2007 presents these features in a different manner

Scroll lock in excel 2007

When SCROLL LOCK is on, "SCRL" appears on the Excel status bar. If you press the arrow keys when SCROLL LOCK is on, you scroll one row up or one row down. Or, you scroll one column to the left or one column to the right. To use the arrow keys to move between cells, you must turn SCROLL LOCK off.

Excel

If you don't have MS Office, then you will have to purchase either the Excel component as a stand alone but you would be better off with the whole MSOffice as it contains your Word processor, Database, Excel, Powerpoint presentation software and in the 2003 version also Publisher.

It is not too badly priced anymore, but if you cant afford it then you may be able to borrow a copy whilst you are doing your course from a friend, but you will have to uninstall it afterwards.
