You need to find a constant power source to connect the yellow wire to. the yellow wire controls the memory.

My cd player in my 08 dodge grand caravan won't continue to play the songs after I turn the van off, when I start it up again, the cd starts over from the beginning. ....how do I fix this?

Sounds like a cd player that is an after market.... just hook up the power wire to a battery always live fuse... ie a power connection that isn't interrupted by the ignition. however be sure that the radio doesn't have an anti theft system or as soon as the Power wire is disconnected the radio will have to be reset.... there should be a wiring diagram on the top of the radio or on the bk... look for the wire marked memory and hook the power wire up to the same spot on the fuse box.... the memory wire runs the clock, channel selection and anything else that needs power at all times, even when the ignition is off and the keys are removed so it will be a great spot to hook your power wire to also... just splice into that wire with a splicer but, if your system is a high powered system run an independent wire from the battery through the fire wall so you do not blw a fuse or cause a fire.

Resets when I turn ignition off

The yellow wire on your radio needs to be connected to an always hot fuse or wire. It is hooked to one now that is connected through the ignition, which is why it won't keep settings.

I have one wired connected to the ignition on to main power and it says i need to connect one to car power supply, where do i hook that one up to ???

Are you installing a speaker box and amplifier? Your ignition wire on your speaker box or amplifier should go to the ignition wire on your radio. That turns the system on when the radio is turned on. The main power wire should be ran using 8 gauge or lower wire with a 30 amp fuseable link and connect directly to your battery

When the ignition is turned off and turned on again the clock keeps reseting to 00.00

Sounds like you don't have the 12v constant hooked up. There is two 12v sources, one is ignition, and the other is constant. All it's for is keeping the settings. The ignition wire from radio is for turning radio on when car is on or in acc setting. Pull radio make sure everything is wired properly. U can't wiring information on the web using radio brand and model number.

I just bought a VC KS-AX4302 amplifier. When hooked up to power, the amp immediately turns on and the deck turns on and starts playing music, with no key in the ignition. Both stay on until the power is...

You must have gotten the power lines mixed up. You need to connect the power to the amp and radio the the switched side of the power supply. Or, you connected the amp power and the amp switch wire, usually the blue wire in reverse.

I can't turn on my radio the dispaly says THEFT

I'm guessing that you disconnected the battery recently! but if you contact your dealer they can pull the code for you, you may have to take it to them so they can connect the scan tool and get the code that way!

Squeal when motor home running and mike is thumbed

You are getting engine interference from the electronics in the ignition system. First you need to see where its coming in from, The antenna or the power wire.

Turn on the vehicle, and the radio. Then while you hear the noise interference disconnect the antenna.(Do not key the radio) If the noise disappears when you disconnect the antenna, then the noise is coming in from the antenna. Relocating of the antenna may be necessary and or you have bad coax and it may need replacing. If the noise is still there when you take the antenna wire off, then the noise is coming in through the power wire. (this is most likely.)

There should be a setting called ANL (automatic noise limiter, or DSC. Turn this on. That should get rid of it, or make it not so present. If there is still a lot of engine noise then.........

There are only 2 ways around this.

1) Run the power from the radio directly to the battery. This will solve the problem.

If you cannot run the wires to the battery, then you can do the following.

2) Get a ground loop isolator for the power wire. Make sure its not one for the RCA jacks for an audio amplifier. Its made for the power wires. This hooks to where you have the radio connected to now, and then the radio hooks to it.

You can get them from radio shack, but usually they are not in stock and you will have to order it.

You can also check to make sure you have a good ground.

Kenwood kdc 3011 rests its self every time i turn the car off

This means that the power lead you connected the red and yellow to is a switched live and each time you turn off the ignition the power goes off and therefore resets. to fix this problem you need to connect the yellow to a permanent 12v supply that stays live when you turn off the ignition.
