Once you delete the recovery partition there isn't any way to get it back. Depending on the model they might have sent you a recovery disk - that should reset the system.
You cannot recover a lost or deleted partition by simply creating it in Windows Disk Manager (this can only make things worse). To recover partitions you will need partition recovery softwareToday there are TONS of partition recovery software on the Internet. I am going to give a short review of such software. Here are some main kinds of partition recovery software:
It can be paid or free
It can run under Windows or only under DOS (usually from a boot CD)
It can give you the possibility to copy files off the lost partition (preferred) or just patch your hard drive (pretty much dangerous).
Active Partition Recovery DOS/WindowsPrice: $36Easiness to use: Average Safety: Average Allows to recover partitions or files in Demo mode: No Link: http://www.partition-recovery.com/price.htm
or with this free software
TestDiskPrice: FreeEasiness to use: Not easy Safety: Dangerous! Allows to recover partitions or files in Demo mode: Yes Link: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Download Click link to download..
but still you can reinstall os on your drive by creating partition..(if no need to recover files)
during setup press c key to create partition and put size to what ever you want for C depends on your hdd size.for example your hdd is 80gb,then put size 30000 for C ,then enter
the remaining size is for D:scroll down D and press c key to create partion for D:then enter
if you haven't delete the recover partition in your hdd, you can do alt+F10 during boot.
if you don't have recovery partition, you can use cd (i hope you created recovery cd). just boot from cd.
other than that, you can buy cd from acer for Aspire 9300 and boot from cd to recover your hdd.
or if you have windows cd, you can install it from cd and find the driver from www.acerpanam.com
by default acer 5050 have 3 partitions
1. OS partition (C)
2. Data (D)
3. Recovery partition (hidden).
If you deleted recovery parition, you can't recover your C parition using Alt+F10. Your only option is recovery from cd/DVD recovery that you created. if you didn't create the cd/dvd, you can call acer support to buy the recovery dvd.
