Question about Whirlpool Calypso GVW9959K Top Load Washer
Hello. I have a two years old Whirlpool washing machine model AWE 6516. Yesterday, during squeezing, the machine made a noise that I never heard from her and, most important, some oil leaked beneath. Please, could you tell me what part of the machine do you think is broken and what should I do next. Thank you.
Unless you look underneath it will not be easy to confirm but please check the following.:
1. check if the motor has failed, the housing has come off.
2. checckif the belts have failed and brought it off the pulley.
3. check if the main spindle , pulley has come off from the main shaft.
4.check if theere is any foreign material struck in between the tub and outer cover. Checking with manually must confirm.
5. check aftert he above had been looked into to see if any other issues are visible or audible.
Hope these tips helps.
