There should be a reset button on the player and when the battery is removed the sub processor would have hung up.
If resetting wont solve, connect to PC and scan for Virus, delete bad files or rearrange, if possible copy all files, format and reinstall back after confirmation.
Hope this helps

Double check the battery positive connection wiring carefully as it commonly has connection problems when the battery is changed.

Car wants to turn, there's gas in the car, battery seems to be charged, but the engine doesn't turn over. what's wrong with my car?

Battery may seem to be charged but most likely you don't have enough amperage. Have the battery tested. 2nd, if the battery's charge is not being maintained and you have to buy another one, you may want to have your alternator checked as well so the new battery doesn't die on you as well. If it is your alternator, replace alternator, charge battery checking water levels, start car.
If the battery checks out and has enough amperage you next focus should be on your starter, but it's probably the battery.

Cannot seem to turn my camcorder off----was doing fine but changed my battery to a duracell---recommended to replace my samsung battery and now I cannot seem to get the camcorder to turn off. help!!!!!!!!!...

If you turn the power (wheel) to off, and it still doesn't turn off, there's a problem with the power switch - it probably has nothing to do with the battery. And it would need to be repaired (at one of the authorized repair center - see your manual for contact info).

Camera won't turn on. It hasn't been used in some time and the batteries seemed corroded. We replaced the batteries, but the battery chamber sticks and the camera still doesn't work.

If the batteries seemed corroded, you can bet the contacts are also. If you're lucky, after cleaning the contacts and the entire interior of the battery compartment and inserting a fresh set of batteries (not the ones you've already used in the dirty camera, but a new set), the camera will turn on and function properly.

What's more likely to happen, unfortunately, is that the above will not work because the corrosion has spread to the interior of the camera. In that case, it may be time to consider replacing the camera. And in the future, remove the batteries if you're not going to be using the camera for longer than a couple of weeks.

1991 Honda Accord won't start. Battery seems ok

Sounds like the distributor. But you may have a faulty replacement coil..get an exchange and see if it is faulty. I have received many replacement parts that fail prematurely.

Have a Mitsubishi starter for a small 3 cylinder (Toro Mower)

Removed starter and tested with new battery and jumper cables...starter worked fine. Replaced battery and cleaned cable attachments...unit started as usual.

When starter throws this would indicate that the interconnect circuits are intact..the engine still would not turn...that leaves the battery, the cable, or a siezed engine. The engine flywheel turned easily...no siezure. That left only the battery and cable. Battery was 3 years old...cable was corroded...bad combination. Battery was replace and corrosion removed from the cable terminals...started first crank.

Camera battery seems to run out of charge quickly

It sounds like your battery is dead. If you get a replacement battery, it should solve both problems.
