Crusty Plate is used for frozen foods such as pizza, baguettes quiches, and chicken nuggets. Add the food after preheating and activate the Crusty Cook button for deliciously crunchy results.

I have a 30 inch wolf range I took the door off of. I'm trying to take the door apart but there are 2 screws behind the logo plate that need to come out. The problem I'm having is getting the logo plate...

A plastic putty knife can help, but the logo is held on with double sided tape and the Wolf parts book always says to order a new logo whenever you order anything that requires removing the logo

I would like help refitting my oven door

Not being able to see the problem, may I suggest you beg, borrow or steal a couple of strong magnets to hold the plate in place while you attempt to re-attach the doors.

Once you got one more or less in place you can use a nail or small screw driver maintain or adjust position.

I have a Miele H147-2mb combi oven. If I start microwave in the 900w mode for a little bottle with milk i see a flame on the topplate of the oven. It's a circle with a diameter of 5 - 10 cm.

Hi there - the cover plate is most likely to be damaged or theres dirt build up behind the cover plate causing it the arc or short to the frame...

Worse case is the microwave cannot be used as it will cause more damage to the oven.. there are a few screws holding the cover plate to the top - remove it gently - if not damaged as its made of fibreglass you may be able to re-use it - inspect the hole/microwave entry for the damage caused by the arc reactions.

Pending on how bad it is - you may just have to use the oven only as one needs to replace the entire casing to overcome the problem which is costly. Wipe the carbon off the oven with a damp cloth - please don't scrap it off as it will enhance the arcing and if the damage is already excessive then reside to using the oven only.

Good luck

Hi lost the manual..need to start self cleaning

Hello,

An electric oven is a great oven choice because of the advanced self-cleaning feature often available on certain models. A self-cleaning oven uses high temperatures to clean crusty baking spills and splatters and free its owner from having to use harsh chemicals to clean his oven. The following 4 steps lay out how a self-cleaning oven works.

Step 1 - Setting the Self Cleaning Mode
Depending on the style and brand of oven you own, you start the self-cleaning cycle by setting the oven's operating dial to "Clean," a function that can be as simple as setting a timer knob or pushing one or two buttons.

Step 2 - Cleaning Cycle
Once you have set the self-cleaning cycle, the oven coils-both lower and upper--will begin to heat. These self-cleaning ovens are protected from high oven temperatures damage by heavy insulation installed in their walls and door during the manufacturing process.

Step 3 - Automatic Door Lock
When the oven reaches a pre-determined temperature, the lock on the oven door engages, preventing anyone from opening the door until the oven temperature has cooled.

Step 4 - Removing Residual Ashes
Once the cleaning process is completed, including cooling, you can then remove the residual ash by wiping the bottom oven surface with a damp cloth or sponge.

Hope this helpout

All funtions on oven r working ie lights fan and grill but wen on oven setting it will not get hot please help

Have you had any problems with your electricity "tripping" when the oven is in use? If so I would suggest that the oven element needs replacing or on rare occasions the emergency thermostat is faulty.
The oven element is generally found under a metal plate in the bottom of the oven( inside) and its terminals are found by taking the back off the oven.

The emergency thermostat is located in the rear of the oven and looks like an over sized watch battery on an oval mounting plate.

Neither of the parts is overly expensive and far cheaper than a new oven.

Hope this helps.

4 Plate stove (hob), when switching on one of the plates it keeps tripping all the power. I have replaced the switch however problem persists. Secondly remaining 3 plates only seem to reach a low...

I would suggest you replace the hotplate that keeps tripping the supply, this hopefully will solve the prob you are experiencing with the other plates.

I just moved into an apartment that has an older Caloric Prestige oven and range and cannot find the Pilot light--Please help

Hi, The caloric ranges use diferent types of pilot igniters, to avoid any further delays, I suggest geting the model number off the stove usually located under the stove's top, you don't need any tools just lift the range top(like when you are going to clean it) the model number is located usually on a metal plate in between the burners, or if it's not there , it will be inside the oven around the door liner or the oven liner. When you do locate the model, just go to the repair clinic.com website and type in the model number, follow instruction after that. see the following figure it might help in locating the model number: small_13_4.jpg

Uneven cooking in fan oven

There are many reasons for uneven cooking in any oven
These are just a few possibilities.
Not pre- heating oven
Putting too much in the oven, thereby restricting air circulation.
Not putting on correct shelf level.
Use of foil in the oven which can reflect heat.
Badly fitting door.
Perished door seal.
Thermostat not controlling temp properly. Check with oven thermometer.
There plenty of other resons besides these, but these are some of the more important ones.
So do check these points..
If you are still experiencing problems, then you will probably have to call an oven expert in too look at it.
Plz rate my solution
.Thanks.
