SOURCE: setting the time
I believe that to set the time, you'll need to have the key on, but the radio powered off. Then, you'll have to press the "Func" key and now you can cycle the menu to get to "clock adjust".

With radio off hit "Clock" key (should display time). Hold "Function (F)" key 4 seconds. Display should light up. Use "up" or "down" arrow to change time. Use "left" or "right" keys to switch from hours to minutes. Hit "Function (F)" key to exit.
go to http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Support. In the search window at the upper right of the page, search for your model (i.e. DEH 2700). That will lead you to a general page for your model. Click on the Documents tab on the page. There's your manual. RTFM.
