I had trouble with mine. i put a 2 gig card it. it should accept it but to actually access it you need the stand alone roxio media manager which you should be able to get right from the blackberry site. it's the only way i could access it with my computer. you also need to go into your options... settings should be ON , NONE, ON and YES.

My blackberry 9900 won't read media card

Will it read any card? if it will read another card just not "yours" or the one you want it to read then the card is either faulty, needs to be reformatted, or is a too high capacity for your phone.(some phones wont accept high capacity memory cards) How ever if your phone will not read any card it means you phone memory card reader is faulty or has poor or non existence connection to the proper points on the phone circuit board- in that event if it will not matter what the cause may be, you cant fix it- take it for repair--Good Luck.

How do I transfer pictures from my blackberry device to the media card?

It's recommended to buy a microSD card to store your media files on, so you don't run out of memory on your device.

Depending on what OS your BlackBerry is tells you what size microSD card you can buy. You can check under Options ' About (will be listed as v4.xx.xxx). Look at the chart at the following link to see what size you can obtain -http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB05461

On the BlackBerry go into Options ' Media Card. Recommended media settings are as follows:

Media Card support : ON
Encryption Mode : NONE
Mass Storage Support : ON
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected : YES

Mass Storage mode allows your BlackBerry to act as an extra drive when connected to your PC. So it will show up as an extra drive letter in Windows Explorer. So you can just drag/drop media files onto your media card and vice versa.

Or if you use ITunes, you can you the Media Sync to synchronize with the device. Read up about that here:http://na.blackberry.com/eng/devices/features/media/mediasync.jsp#tab_tab_overview

When i put my media card in my blackberry it says its not there?

back up first all of your files.then format your media card using your Blackberry, not your PC.If it is still same problem after formatting, try to replace another media card and check if other media is working in your phone.lastly,if still not working its already a hardware problem, its a memory card IC,not working anymore, you must replace it.
