Question about UncleMilton Uncle Milton's Ant Farm Game

To whom it may concern: July 12, 2010 (Order # 652165) I ordered an Ant Far & kit #174, requesting it be sent to my daughters house in a different city. On Aug. 3rd I received an email stating to look everyday in the mail box as the ants had been shipped. On August 18th the ants arrived at my home address, Rogers, MN (the billing address) versus the requested shipping address, Byron, MN (two hours from Rogers). The next morning, the ant package was re-mailed, by my husband, to Byron at an additional cost of $3.00 plus a mailing envelope. The ants arrived in Byron by noon on the 20th. I was in Byron and followed the directions of refrigerating the tubes for fifteen minutes while preparing the ant farms. The children were very excited as they had been waiting a very long time. However, when we opened the tubes, the ants did not move. The directions did state that the cold would make the ants less active. One tube only had 3 ants that showed any movement after fifteen minutes and the other tube only had one ant that moved. The next day none of the ants were moving. To say the least we were all very disappointed. The item number was EAFC3 for a cost of $17.95 plus I paid $6.95 for shipping Priority mail. Total Master Charge bill was $24.90. I did try and call someone today was referred to only being able to send a message. Needless to say I am disappointed. Not only did the ants take a very long time to arrive, they were sent to the wrong address, which I then incurred more expense, but worse they arrived dead. This is all in addition to purchasing two ant farms for which I ordered the kit of ants and the booklet and poster. I am hoping to resolve this situation with a replacement shipment. I received my Capital One Master Charge bill on the 21st with the above charge requesting payment. Unless I receive a satisfactory replacement shipment, sent to the correct address I am requesting Capital One Master Charge to refuse payment to Uncle Milton Industries. send an e-mail to the supplier and make it a definite cancellation of the order
state quite clearly that any orders received will not be paid for and will be dumped
stop any automatic deductions from your account

Try to locate your order confirmation (if ordered online) and contact their customer support. If you were sent a tracking number, you might also use that to track your package online.

Dorel Juvenile Group Announces a Voluntary Safety Recall of the Harness Adjustment ******** Certain Cosco®, Safety 1st® and Eddie Bauer® Brand Child Restraint Systems
Columbus, IN August 30, 2007- Dorel Juvenile Group (DJG) is issuing a voluntary safety recall for certain Cosco®, Safety 1st® and Eddie Bauer® brand child restraint systems manufactured during November 2003 through December 2005. Although no injuries have been reported, there is a potential for the harness adjustment strap to loosen during use. If this were to occur, the harness may be loose around the child, possibly increasing the risk of injury in a crash. We feel that it is important to replace the harness adjustment strap.

Model numbers affected are:
Cosco®: Alpha Omega®, Alpha Omega EliteTM: 22150, 22155, 22180, 22269; Eddie Bauer®: 3-in-1, Deluxe 3-in-1, Deluxe Convertible: 22740, 22750, 22755, 22756, 22757, 22770; Safety 1st® : Alpha EliteTM, Alpha Omega®, Alpha Omega EliteTM, Alpha SportTM, InteraTM, EnspiraTM: 22151, 22450, 22451, 22452, 22453, 22455, 22460, 22480, 22481

The model number and date of manufacture may be found on a sticker located on the side or back of the child restraint system.

DJG will contact all registered owners and provide them with information on how to obtain a free repair kit to replace the harness adjustment strap. Those consumers who have not registered their product should visit www.djgusa.com or call 800-219-0509 to order a free repair kit. The affected seats should not be returned to the retailer.

DJG encourages parents to obtain and install the repair kit as soon as possible. Parents may continue to use the child restraint system as directed in their instruction manual. Parents should be sure to adjust the harness adjuster strap snugly each time they put their child in the child restraint system. If there is any difficulty adjusting the harness adjustment strap, or it does not remain tight, DJG suggests using a different child restraint system until the repair kit has been installed.

To check for harness slippage:
(1) Fully tighten the harness, (2) pull on the harness straps without pressing or lifting the harness adjustment lever. If movement occurs, the harness is experiencing slippage.
