Question about Mitsubishi VS-50707 50" Rear Projection Television
The most common failure is the convergence IC's for what you are describing. They are large black flat-pack items mounted on aluminum, finned heatsinks. They will have numbers on them like STK392-110 or STK392-120. Yours may be different but most start with STK392-___. There may be some resistors that overheated and failed,... they are usually mounted near the IC's. They will be darkened towards the middle area. Google "Mitsubishi convergence repair kit" and you'll find suppliers who will sell you what you need , quite often with complete instructions.
