You can not dim compact fluorescent lamps. The ballast for the fluorescent is built into the bottom of the lamp. IF the manufacture says that it is dimmable, then you would need a special interface (Lutorn FDBI) to make it work properly. It may work for a short while with out it, but will burn out the ballast or dimmer.

OK, second shot at this: About 65% of the time my SFN30 Senco finish nail gun only shoots a nail every OTHER pull of the trigger. All the O-Rings are good and the driver blade is perfectly straight.

There are 4 main causes usually with this tool:
1) Check the seal in the bottom of the cylinder (under the bumper) #BF0070 (#12 on the breakdown) If this seal is missing or worn the piston will not always return fully.
2) The pusher spring #GD0253 in the magazine is not moving the nails forward
2) The driver is bent or the tip is worn / chipped
3) The check valve ring #LB0077 on the cylinder is not sealing properly

Why does my senco frame pro when I use 2" nails

Good afternoon,

Usually the reason is because you're trying too hard to keep the nose of the tool in contact with the timber you are trying to nail. Perhapse you might just relax a little, then it'll all be fine.

These tools are able to fire by either placing the tool on the work piece and pulling the trigger. Or you can hold the trigger and "bounce" the tip of the nose to actuate the firing sequence. ( This is fine if you're just putting up first fix frame but, if you need a more refined and accurate fix go for the first method)

If you still can't get by, take the tool to you're local Senco Service centre and ask them to fit a restrictive trigger. That will only allow you to fire one nail at a time.

There is no adjustment that can be made to make the safety work or not. When new, the SCN45 had a safety system that prevents the nailer from firing unless it was pressed against a surface. If your gun fires without the safety being compressed, it has somehow been bypassed either by being jambed or tied in the firing position or the trigger lever is wedged so it can't operate properly. Below is a site that has a great breakdown of your tool that you can reference to see what parts may be missing. This is an older tool and many parts are no longer available.

My Senco SFN1 finish nailer will not shoot a nail. When the trigger is pulled air comes out but no nail is shot. Thanks,Steve L

Not sure about Senco but most have latch you can open to expose firing mechanism. Nail sometimes gets jammed and will not allow driver to fire or if not nail push driver ****** all the way back into gun then see if gun will fire.

Framepro 602 only shoots air out a hole in the top when the trigger is pulled, occasionally shoots a nail but more often just shoots air

You have some worn out o-rings in your gun. Get a Senco repair kit #YK0360, use everything in the kit and your gun will be as good as new. Type "senco yk0360" in your search engine and shop around, the kit should be around $45 - $50.

Senco 601 nailer shoots 2 nails each time the trigger is pulled.

the 601 had a design flaw, in the nose, where the nails hit as the are being pushed forward, the peice was made out of a peice of metal that was too soft, it wore down and that is where you get the double nail problem.

Senco offered a trade in, this was years ago, for a limited time and gave us credit towards new guns, which we gladly did
