Question about Sony VGN-CR220E/L Notebook
If there is no display it is possible that you have a hardware issue. Remove the battery , keep aside and reinsert it. Power on and if the same issue comes up it is possible that the wire flexible strip to the display through the hinges is damaged. You will have to remove the screws to open and access the mother board, remove the display frame and checck the ccontinuity for confirmation. However if this seems OK then the display driverr is faulty.
If not familiar choose to get this done by a good tech, to estimate as this will be better than gettting the notebook tampered.
