Take the tray out and look at the bottom where the paper goes in maybe its dirty or there is a paper stuck or the roller doean not move
i dont know what model you have but if you have manuel feed try it and see if the printer is ok so you know that its only the tray feeder

Hello FixYa, I have a problem with my Brother MFC-240C. Everytime I try to print something I get a paper jam error message. I have tried opening the back cover and removing the paper but it still does...

This is not a fix, but a troubleshooting step. After you perform this step, please respond and let me know the outcome.

Take a small stack of paper (less than 50 sheets) and place flat in a refrigerator overnight. After the paper has been in there for at least 8 hours, pull it out and fan it (to remove static cling between the sheets). Place in the printer and see if the paper will feed correctly.

If it does, then your problem is high humidity which is a common cause for paper sticking together and causing paper jams. If it doesn't, then you've probably got a torn piece of paper somewhere in the paper path that is causing a jam. Either way, let me know your results so I can help you troubleshoot your issue.

I have a brother mfc 7420 and every time I print it tells me paper jam, I pull the paper tray out fix the paper push start it tells me paper then I have to pull out the cartridge and pull out the paper...

Sounds like there is something in the paper track that's causing this to jam. Its not always easy to get small particles cleared just by removing the jammed paper.

This may not help everyone that I send it to, but it is worth a try.
I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press
the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer.
The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Says there is a paper jam everytime i try to print

Hello

Check within your paper feeder rollers there might be something stuck inside it like paper clips, coins or anything small and solid. If you can find way to open the printer without braking it, that would be nice.

Hope this helps.

No Help Any Where For this Problem"Unable to Print 50 or 30 Both"

Hi,
Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Hope that helps!

Brother mfc-420cn printer envelope jam

If you did not get ALL the jammed sheet out, there is still a small piece of paper in there somewhere, probably covering a sensor or micro switch. Get a torch and look carefully. If you don't find anything you may need to disassemble the printer to find it

Paper Jam

Seems you have a dusty roller in the feed mechanism. try cleaning off the roller with some windex (or equivalent) on a towel.

Brother printer jams all the time

Be sure the paper tray is not over full and maybe even fan the paper before loading. Check all the corners that hold the paper as they are usually adjustable for different paper sizes and sometimes move or become unattached. The paper must lay flat and snugly in all places in the tray to load properly.
