Water is coming into the house but isn't coming out of my facets.

A couple of things to check also:
1. I am assuming that you have checked the shut off valve that is usually inside the garage. Make sure that the valve handle is aligned with the pipe, if not turn the handle so it will be aligned with the pipe.
2. Toilet, flush it and see if the tank is filled up again. if the tank fills up right away, then your problem will be in the faucets.
3. Test your shower. If water comes out of the shower heads, then your problem might be in the faucets.
4. How old id the house? if the faucets are not being used regular basis, your seals in the faucets might have hardened up and sticking.
5. hope I have given you some help in trouble shooting your water problem. Good luck.

Getting hot water when shower valve is first opened.

If I understand correctly, you have single handled shower faucet.
Normally there is a wait for hot water to arrive at faucet.
But now hot water is already at shower faucet.

Single handled faucets have a mixing area inside valve where hot and cold come together before going into sink.
This mixing valve can have crossover where the hot and cold can pass through to each other even when faucet handle is off. When single handle faucets get old, this can happen.
How it happens:
For example another faucet is turned on inside house, and pressure differential between hot and cold causes hot water at shower handle to pass through mixing area and into cold water line.
So if another faucet has been run, then that lets hot flow to faulty single handled shower faucet.
To confirm this is the problem: turn on other faucet and put ear against shower faucet to listen for moving water.
This condition may also signal there is a water leak.
The problem is not harmful, but will draw cold water into water heater each time, and is energy wasteful.
Replace faucet or have plumber repair problem.

Moen Single Handle Shower Faucet-turn on get cold, little hot

You can try to rotate the first plastic ring to the left of center a few teeth, this will let the handle advance alittle more to the hot side.

My mixet bathtub faucet only produces hot water

single lever facets do this all the time

flip the facet leverover
ie remove lever and spin the center gut 180 degrees re install the lever and wala you have hot and cold water
if not check your supplu lines dont have a kink in them or they are not pluged
remove hot supply line and open feed valve over a bucket no water ?
turn on the other shut off valve
remove cold line over bucket open valve you have water then you have a bad faucet
return it then install a glacier bay faucet they are cheep and they work well

When turned on to hard the water sprays out the back of the facet

turn of both water supply under the sink.
there is a small red/blue plastic cap at about 45 degree to the underside of the handle. you need a allen key screw driver to lossen it, then pull up the handle. unscrew the lock cap on top of the facet body. left out the cartirdge and make sure there are two "O" ring at the butom of the cartridge is out of the focet body. install in reverse.

Bath tube plumbing is making vibrating sound then shutting off

Replace the cartridge even if its new. The vibrating is from the internal workings of the stem. It also effects the volume of water.

good luck, Phil
