Question about Alpine CDE-9874 Car CD/ MP3 Player

1 Answer

I recently ejected a CD from my Alpine CD player and tried to put in another and it wouldn't accept the CD. tried pushing a little harder then I usually had to and still didn't take it. Instead it would act like it was reading a CD and say error. The same results happened for when I pressed the eject button. Any ideas, thanks in advance.

Try pressing the reset button or disconnecting power to the radio for a few minutes.

Recently the CD player stopped working with a cd inside it says error 1/error 2 after it trys to load it also won't eject the cd at the same time this started the usb also stopped charging my devices

Try to put another cd in on top of the stuck one . don't force it , just push in a little ways then pull it out . Sometimes that will make player eject the stuck one. I would take it back to whoever installed the radio.

Alpine IVA-D310 will not eject CD. If you push eject button you hear the machine trying to eject CD, but nothing happens. The display says eject malfunction.

If you are comfortable with taking the unit out and taking the back off of it, you can access the CD that is stuck. If you are not comfortable in doing this, then I would recommend taking it to an electronics shop where they can work on it.

Did you try to reset it? Look for a small button that only be press with a toothpicker or something that small. Another way to reset is to disconnect the battery. Goodluck.
