Hello. First it is not a chain saw but a bench saw. The site you gave me does'nt have any part list for that model

Hello. Sorry for the delay. I tough about it, but it might not be cheap.

I will just sell it for the parts and it will be the end of the story.

    Thank's for your help.

Hello Frank,

You can try contacting local (!) service centers directly. They may have a donor unit that they can pull from, but it looks like this part has been discontinued.

If you still have "most" of the old fan, you may be able to take it to a machine shop and have the fabricate a replacement, perhaps make a 1 time mold and pour a new one. Its a long shot, but worth a try.

You also might try an electric motor repair shop, they may have something that can replace it, though it likely won't look the same.

You can get parts for the saw on the link below. You might have to call them to get the right part if you do not see it on the site.

Yes I know it is not a chain saw. It is a radial arm saw. They do have the part you just need to call them for it. They do not list every part that they stock.

I just call them and they do NOT have that part. How can you tell they have it?
If so, tell them to email me the price.
    Have a nice day

I replaced the blade in the dewalt DW716 mitre, now the blade spins slow and trips my breaker??

Hello, W/D here.

Remove your new blade. With the hardware, bolt, washer, blade and cups off, try the saw. If it operates correctly, re-examine how the blade is installed One blade cup goes on, followed by the blade, then the other cup, followed by the washer and bolt assembly. If the cups were in the wrong order, the blade can drag against the frame of the saw, pulling too many amps, and tripping the breaker.
Here is a link to DeWalt. Enter your model # for manual download and exploded diagrams.

I have a Dewalt model 7730 radial arm saw. When the on button is pushed the motor starts off real slow as if it is under a bind or load but after a few seconds it picks up speed and seems to turn at full...

most probably it is bit of timber on the bottom of the saw assembly...

1. switch off the saw
2. remove power plug
3. remove screw and clear protector assembly
4. remove centre panel (as to changing the blade)
5. remove blade and clean dust furrow below it from all debris
6. re-assemble in reverse order
7. mount safety protector assembly
7, connect power cord
8. start in shor burst and switch immediatelly off, after blade stop spinning, check blade assembly if not wobbly.

this should solve your problem.

if you find this advice useful, please do not hesitate to leave comment and give me your vote4 fo rme, thanx!

Need replacement parts - accessories

If the kickback arm you seek is the type that is a round bar with pointed fingers on the bottom, I had the same problem. (different model DeWalt) I gave up trying to find one, and finally just made one. It was pretty easy, and works very weill I bought a piece of steel rod (1/2 inch I think) a steel repair plate (from which I cut a pair of tear-drop shapes with a hacksaw and file) a 1/4 inch hex-head bolt (which had about 1 inch not threaded) and a 1/8 inch roll pin. I looked at various pictures on the web to determine the shape of the teardrops. I drilled a 1/4 hole in the 1/2 rod. I cut the threads off of the 1/4 bolt so it was still long enough to accept the 1/2 rod, the two teardrops, 2 washers and the 1/8 roll pin. Then I put an 1/8 hole in the bolt allowing enough clearance so that the teardrops would swing freely. It works like a champ. One minor flaw is that with only two of the teardrops (instead of several) and being separated by 1/2 inch, it would be possible to make a skinny enough rip that only one teardrop would contact the board being ripped, leaving the other peice unguarded.

I need to change the bearings on the amature of a dewalt tile saw

I looked at a breakdown and there is no clip. Sometimes the bearing is tough to pull out of the gearcase. Do you have a dead blow hammer? Sometimes I have to apply pressure (pulling) to the armature and tap the gearcase make sure that I hit a solid thick piece of it and generally it will jump out of there. Also in the past with the fan bearing on the armature it is so close to fan that you have to crush it in a vise and use a bearing splitter to remove the inner race, or if you buy the parts from Dewalt you might take it with you and ask them to remove and press the new ones on. Let me know if this doesn't work and I will research further.
