Normally you can fix that by, Powering down the machine.
Disconnect all the cables between the scanner and document feeder.
Also down by the power cord there is the cable from the scanner to the processor. That is a very hard cable to get connected correctly and works loose often. Disconnect that molex connector reconnect it and take a flat blade screw driver and tighten it. Then switch the machine on. I suspect that will resolve your issue. If not here is the documentation from the manual, which offers, well not much..

That code it related to the document feeder or scanner.
What I would try is turn off the machine, then disconnect all the connectors from the scanner and document feeder, and espicialy the molex connector next to the power cord near the on off switch, that cable tends to work loose and is odd to tighten as it. Make sure you tighten that one well.
If it is scanner or document feeder related, there are almost no parts spared for those, the assemblies need to be replaced.
There is better then a 50 % chance the cables will fix the problem.

That is a document feed or scanner fault. Often times it is simply that molex connector working loose. It is the connector mounted vertically next to the main power cord on the right rear side of the machine. That bottom screw can be dificult to tighten. What I would try first is to shut the machine off, unscrew and disconnect that conntecot totally then firmly slide it in and get both the top and bottom screwss tight. Like I said, the bottom thumb screw can be hard to tighten even with a screw driver because it is a pretty soft rubber the tighteners are made out of.
If that doesnt work. go to the back and disconnect the document feed to scanner cables and reconnect. Other than that, you pretty much have to replace the feeder/scaner assembly since very very few parts are spared for that .

That means your print head is not tilting back and forth properly. Or moving side to side.
The 2 most likely causes are this. 1. If you remove the side covers, behind the left cover, ( left looking from the front of the machine) about half way back, near the bottom of the machine you will see a stainless steel block, about 1 inch square. Check that for the presence of ink that has leaked into it. normally its yellow. You will have to remove that block and clean it and the shaft that runs through it thoroughly.
2. The print head wiper, That is located between the print head and the drum. You would have to remove the scanner and the ink loader to access that area. But if a machine is not turned off correctly, unplugged or you had a power failure, it may be stuck to the print head. Which you would just have to take care and dislodge it from the print head then run a couple of cleaning cycles, or power on and off a couple of times.
3. You could have a bad wipre blade clutch but thats less likely. If there is alot of ink in the block, clean all around that area, and then, be 100 percent certain the machine is LEVEL. To check. put a level on the platen glass. check for level front to back and side to side, If it isnt level, shim it until it is level. And dont move, I mean relocate the machine when its hot.

That has to do with the process drive motor assembly. The gears may have jumped, It is located on the right side of the machine toward the front, A motor assembly , with several white gears. There are 2 holes you have to use paper clips to align the gears and an arrow on the bottom to align.
The maintenance kit plate may be binding also. That is what the maintenance lit sits on and pivots up and down. Black plastic.
