There arent any sim cards in verizon wireless phones
It could have got the sim card wet. So it could of got written over. Or it could of got water in it & erased that part of the sim card.

LG 8600 got briefly wet, removed battery and air dried for one week; still can not get past the verizon wireless screen and it stays on for 10 seconds then goes off; keeps cycling this way; no change with wall charger...help this is a replacement phone that i have had for 10 days...
