Open Question

I purchased an Igia Lazer-Vac cordless vacuum item number AT-7290 at a yard sale. Box was taped and said never used. Unfortunatley it did not have the instruction book in it and I am tryinf to figure out how to put it together. Can I get the instruction sheet or a copy?

SOURCE: vacuuming up water with Shop Vac model 84M200

when picking up dry materials use the foam sleeve that slips on and the blue cloth (assuming there all blue) over it, there should be a ring that slides over blue cloth to hold it in place over the foam sleeve, for wet pick up u can use the foam sleeve minus the blue cloth but let it dry out before picking up dry stuff, you can pick up both wet and dry with a cartrige filter that looks simular to a car air filter and it slips over the foam sleeve, but let it dry out after picking up water before picking up dry cause itll just clog it up

Cordless hand vac does not charge.

More than likely the battery pack is defective, remove the battery, it has a number on it, go on eBay with that number and you should be able to purchase a new battery pack.

I realize this is an old post, but I also picked up the same item & have the same problem. Anyone know the fix? It's a Brookstone SKU#411884. I purchased it in an auction, brand new in the box. The filter is clean and shows no sign of previous use. HELP I WANT TO USE IT! I'VE LOOKED ALL OVER THE WEB & CAN'T FIND THE PRODUCT ANYWHERE. :(

This vacuum has a history of problems with the battery contacts. Check that yours are not bent out of shape or corroded. if they are... straighten them or remove the corrosion.

Wiring up central vac too breaker box.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
A central vac not knowing the brand name or model # uses regular household current and plugs into a regular household inlet and I have never heard of wiring the central vac to the breaker box. The central vac is usually out in the garage or down the basement and will be in the regular household current. You may want to ask the manufacturer or the vac dealer you purchased the central vac from and they might have more information for your and if your central vac needs to be wired to the breaker box they will give you instructions, but I don’t believe that you need to do so. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
