How does the metal plate on crank attach to the crankshaft sensor?

They are called a reluctor wheel and some are heated and pressed on, others are bolted on or held in place with dowel pins and then some fit on keyways. They attach to the crankshaft and rotate were as the sensor is attached to the housing and is stationary.

My phone doesn't show any battery symbol on the front and it drops my calls.

You have to replace it with original motorola battery,or check the gold plated metal ground at the back cover if it's touching the said metal.

My Battery is completely dead. I know the battery is located in the trunk. But, with no power, I can not open the trunk. So, how to open the trunk for 2006 BMW 750Li without power? And, if I have to jump...

You do not need to access the battery to jump start your 7 Series. There is a metal terminal under the hood for jump starting your car or jumping another car. It is located near the passenger at the rear and has a red cap with a PLUS symbol on it. Remove the red cap and attach the postive side of the cable. Attach the negative side to the large nut just to the left.

Also, to open your trunk manually insert the metal key in the key hole next to the button that you push above your license plate.

Hello! There are several know causes for this fault...# 1...As you face the engine...On the front drivers side is the battery distribution block...The ground connection on the fender is not touching bare metal...Disconnect, sand area replace connection...# 2 tighten battery connections on the distribution block...# 3 (and for your sake I hope this isn't the problem) The flex plate...The flex plate is what connects the engine to the automatic transmission...It has a toothed ring on the outer edge for the starter motor to engage...They are known to break, crack or loose teeth...Take the vehicle to an authorized service center to have the flex plate examined...An inspection plate can be removed to view the flex plate...

How do you replace the pressure plates in the clutch,i have a shop manual but its not very user friendly or there a scematic i can down load. also i need to replace the cam tentioner any...

A clutch has metal pressure plates and fiber friction plates. Unless warped, the metal plates should be fine. The cork on the fiber friction plates can get worn and need replacing. The cork on the 1st and last friction plates is about .010 thicker than the center plates. Install a friction plate then metal, friction, metal, etc.. Be sure to install all parts in the proper sequence.

I don't know which part of the tensioner you will be replacing, just don't drop anything into the gearbox. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Watch indicated "low battery" Jeweler replaced the battery but the watch did not respond and remains blank. The watch goes through 2 to 3 batteries per year and light remains on too long and cannot be...

Try resetting it - it worked for me. First, orient your watch face down (with the watch belt buckle opposite you), the new battery in and latched. Second, on the right side battery hold-down latch you will see a small metal circle (~1 mm diameter) with a black dot in the center. Take a small paper clip and touch this metal pad to the metal battery hold-down latch for about 1 second. This will reset the watch.
Rotate the tiny donut that clips over the battery so it touches the brass spring that is next to the battery, replace the back plate. you can use a small tool to carefully lift the metal contact back up off the contact plate. Also make sure the back of the case is on tight as this also plays a role the electro mechanics of this watch.

Replacing clutck need to know torque specs

The plates starts with a fiber friction plate, then a metal pressure plate, then fiber etc.. Alternate fiber / metal till all plates are in. You started with a fiber plate and you should end up with a fiber plate. Go to this site and you can download a free PDF service manual torque specs are in the manual.

"Replace plate" messge appears. I replaced it but the message remains!

Regarding "Replace Card" warning, 90% of the time it's the female metal connector on the red wire going to the spring metal connection screws... The connector can have a buildup of corrosion ( green) build inside of the crimped connection. In that case, the crimped connector will need to be replaced. The black wire may also suffer from corrosion, but to a lessor extent. The replacement crimps need to be stainless steel crimps. The copper crimps corrode easily. Another thing to look out for are loose connections. The final solution would be to replace the card, or see your friendly dealer.
