Replacing the battery would be a good place to start. They don't last more than 2 years.

I have these installed in my 116 unit condos and have had to replace almost 50% at this time. They are only 2 years old!! You can change the battery but it might just be defective like mine are!

I have an intermatic timer ET170 series and I can't program the days for my lights to come on... I already tried several times but the timer does not take my changes why.

Is this a newly purchased timer?
ET170 series has standard 1 year limited warranty, and is discontinued timer replaced by 7-day, 1 and 2 channel ET1700 series.
The manual shows troubleshoot section:
http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/files/intermatic/products/instructions/timers/et175c%20-%20english.ashx

Last step restoration for electronic timers is to replace battery and push in reset button.
Battery compartment is located below buttons.
Compartment slides down and outward and holds AA battery.
If functionality is not restored, then timer has gone bad.

I am replacing an Intermatic T101 125v time switch dial with a GE 15600 replacement time switch module. The intermatic has posts A 1 2 3 4 and GE has L 1 X 2. How do these map to each other?

GE15600 replacement module snaps into standard Intermatic box.

Timers can be wired different ways. I know all these timers and have them sitting in my office.
I cannot see your timer or your wires, so read information below.
Open following link for clear crossover instructions:
http://waterheatertimer.org/GE-timers-and-manuals.html#GE-replacement

If Intermatic timer has terminals A 1 2 3 4, then that is not traditional T101, but sounds like 120Volt T103.
T103 can be wired many different ways, and is not fully compatible with GE replacement.
If you have wires on all terminals A 1 2 3 4, then add a comment and say what wires you have and what loads you are controlling, for more detailed information.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html#T101

For other folks who find this link, it is sometimes less expensive to repair T100 series Intermatic timer with $4 trippers and $20 clock motor.

Timer wheel seems to slip. Won't hold time

You posted under Intermatic T104 timer.
If you have different timer, information below may not fit your timer.
Add a comment with correct timer brand and model number.

1) Click manual override on-off to see if Load turns ON, and that override snaps crisp and clean and is not sluggish or hard to move.
If override is not functioning well, then timer is bad. Buy new timer.
2) If dial is rotating, note current time, and watch if dial is keeping correct time over full day.
If dial is running slow, then buy T100 series 240Volt clock motor for T104 timer.
3) If dial is keeping good time, then tripper might be worn and need replacement
