If i know the model number of a remington typewriter how do i find out the date of it

You should be able to find it on the Remington site. Either that or do a search for vintage type writer collectors and they will help you.

My Remington Noiseless 1939 typewriter has ghosting on the letter keys. I have put on a new ribbon but this just shows up the ghosting of each letter more than ever. I notice when typing the carriage

Could also be that your paper is too fibrous of finish. I found this page because my typewriter was ghosting, too. I adjusted some of the settings and there was not a trace of ghosting. I put the settings back and still no trace of ghosting. Then I realized that I tested for ghosting on paper that has a much smoother finish. I was ghosting on cheap paper we use here at work. So, I don't blame the typewriter. I blame the cheap paper. My typewriter just likes good paper.

Lookinf for a typewriter ribbon for a Remington 15

I can't find a remington 15 listed anywhere but you can try this.
Almost all typewriters use a 1/2 in. ribbon buy a ribbon and wrap it on your spools this is a little messy but sometimes it's the only way.

How do I get a replacement chain for a remington electric saw model 3.0 16 in/41cm ?

Master Distributors ( sells chains for Remington electric chainsaws. The page you probably want is here. I'm pretty sure you need a 16SC which runs about $18. If you can't find what you're looking for there, you can call them at 888-917-2244.

Remington saw is out of business. Look online for any dealers selling parts for these saws. Motor brushes are especially hard to track down and prone to break. Hope this helps!

Where can I order parts for my 16 inch electric Remington saw.

Usually any where that repairs lawn mowers, snowblowers, and chain saws or places that sell them like Sears.

Old Remington Typewriter Model 16

Google it. You should be able to try some of the old typewriter dealers in the Northeast or Chicago. I charge about $ 100.00 dollars to overhaul manual typewriters. This is a pretty easy machine to use.
