You have to enter your cooking time and THEN hit the "power level" button. Most likely, the display will read "the current power level is set to 10" or something like that. just go ahead and put in the number for the percent you want.
For example, hit 5 for 50% power. Then, hit "start."

If the model number is correct, the instructions on how to change the power level settings on your microwave oven begin on page 14 of the owner's manual. If you no longer have an owner's manual, you can obtain a replacement at managemylife.com. Just enter your model number under their "Manuals" link and your owner's and installation manuals are available in .pdf (Adobe) format that you can download or print for FREE.
