Testimonial: "solved, thanks"
Using Microsoft Windows XP and others, Go to control panel and look for power options
Look through power options. Turn off Power saving items, You will see turn off after 1 Minute and so on.
last item indicates that you want to Never turn off Power Options. Set to NEVER then exit and reboot system. This may solve the problem Good Luck
Other option is to Go to Bios (Hold down Delete Key on Start-up) and look at power saving and monitor setings in Bios.

Try to test the computer with another monitor to make sure it's working ok.
