battery for panasonic camera - 8789609.jpg Wow, a trivia question, it’s so unusual that something is not broken.
I think it is actually a “T” and used as a center tap of the battery used during manufacturing.

I have a panasonic DMC-TZ1. Is there an easy way to get back deleted pictures? Went to print them and 2 weeks of pics. are missing right in the middle of 300+ pics. Not sure how they got deleted.

If you are trying to recover deleted photos from the memory card then you can use a software like 'Recuva'.
The software is easy to use and you will figure out how to do it. If you have any problem you can post it here.
If my solution works, please rate my answer with few 'thumbs up'. Remember your vote will be useless if you look at other answers after you read this.
Thanks, and good luck!

I can not see anything through the viewfinder, even though the lense is moving round to focus. Do i need to replace the lithium battery at the base?

we need a model to go by! here are some basic pointers...try taking off the lense cap! see if the battery is charged, see if the battery is in the correct polarity or positive negitive position. is the view finder shut off some models allow this to save on battery

My Memory card says it is protected how can I overcome this to take pics please ?

Take the memory card out of your camera and look at it. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

Inserted 4 GB memory card. new camera trying to take a pic and I keep getting the message card protected.

Memory cards particularly SD or SDHC have an option to protect the files from accidentally deletion. This is done by moving the small part of the memory card to the 'lock or unlock' position. Try to look for this small switch on the side of your memory card.

Nikson CoolPix L16 when the camera is turned on it displays "lens error". I can't take a picture and i can't access my pictures on the camera. It also jarrs halfway and holds a black version...

Try jiggling the lens. Use compressed air to blow out any grit around the lens barrel. If that doesn't do it, you'll need to get the camera serviced.

Panasonic lumix dmc-fx01 won't focus

See the post for the same camera: "Buttons stopped working": there is a small 2 position switch connected to the zoom button. In my camera the zoom switch was stuck in one of the extreme positions. You have to put it back in the middle an re-assemble.
