My drive belt came off i do not know how to put it back on please help! I have a Denon - Fully Automatic Turntable System - DP-29F It doesn't give me much help in the instructions on how to put it back on.

1. Remove the rubber disc from the metal platter.
2. Remove the metal platter by pulling straight up.
3. Ignore the player for the moment; focus on the platter.
4. On the underside of the platter is a circle about 2 inches smaller than the platter; stretch the belt around that inner circle. Make sure it is not twisted.
5. Put the platter back on the player. Rotate the platter so that one of the rectangular holes reveals the drive wheel.
6. Stretch the belt so that it goes around the drive wheel (I used a pencil but tweezers would likely work well).
7. Replace the rubber disc.

Platter won't turn

Souds like the belt has snapped or slipped off. Lift the platter off the table. On the inside of the platter you will notice a second ring, or rim. the belt should be put on the outside of the second rim while the platter is still in your hands. Next, slide back the platter and look for the spindle running the platter through one of the big holes in the platter. Slip the belt onto the spindle and turn with your hand to make sure it runs freely. Hope this helpsmicmor100.jpg

Platter quit spinning

Sounds like the motor drive controller might be malfunctioning. An authorized Denon service center would have to take a look at it to make sure.
