Make sure you disable or turn off the touchpad when you are typing. You are accidentally hitting the touchpad when typin that causes your cursor to be erratic. I suggest to plug in a mouse and disable the touchpad.

you may be using the wrong type of needle i.e size or ballpoint? check the manual as to the type and brand recommended. my janome hates anything other than the exact one stated.
If you use too small a needle or too large it will skip stitches on any machine, also if they are blunt

Personally i would not attempt any kind of diagnostic or repair here. If it was stripped to be cleaned, the most likely cause of the problem is that they have not properly connected the mousepad ribbon cable, resulting in erratic movements. Take it back and ask them to repair it.

What's happening is that your finger(s) are touching/dragging across the laptop's TouchPad
while you're typing,
and thus the cursor's position in the document is being randomly reset/repositioned
while you're typing.
Solution: disable your Laptop's TouchPad, and use a mouse for cursor control.
Solution: tape a 3x5 index card over the Touchpad while you're typing.
Solution: type on a computer with a real keyboard, not the chiclet-type keyboard you (and I) are using.

The reason why the cursor is moving from one corner to another is the Mouse touch pad in satellite is very Sencitive press the button on top of the mouse pad to disable the mouse and then start typing you will see that the cursur is not moving again while you are typing.

Really just go into your soft and find out where you can configure this sensitivity issue,most os,s have this configuration ability.on mine you go into"settings" then "personalization" but yours will be different--Good luck!

use usb mouse for the mean time then
download the latest drivers and software for your touchpad from this website

uninstall the drivers and the software for your touchpad and restart the computer

after the restart install the new version of touchpad drivers and restart check if its working.

Is it only while typing? This may sound stupid, but does your hand brush the touch pad when your typing ?

check to make sure insert is on, and check computer settings, maybe the word processing program settings too.
