Sounds like a poor connection somewhere in the starter circuit. Check all the connections on both ends the heavy cables that run from the battery to the engine and frame. Remove, Clean and Replace if necessary.

Check the battery and battery lead terminals are clean (wire brush or a scotchbrite) and tight.
Still not working: - then check the battery lead connections to earth (chassis), starter solenoid and starter motor.

Does a Briggs and Stratton 250035-0111-b1 have a fuel solenoid

The easiest way to check is to look at the bottom of the carb. If there is an electrical wire connected to the bottom of the carb, it has a fuel solenoid. Here is a youtube video Fuel Solenoid on engine

What weight of hydraulic fluid is used in a dixon lawn mower

The motor takes 30 SAE. the drives take 20/50 SAE motor oil. I contacted the manufacturer of the hydro gear drives to find out what was used when I rebuilt one. There is only one manufacturer of all hydro gear drives. Their recommend Mobile 20/50 SAE.

Should I buy a used 311 Dixon ZTR for my 1/2 acre yard?

Never buy one. Ever. Unless you have a mechanic from Dixon that will live with you to fix it every time you turn it on. I HATE it. If it isn't one thing, it is something else. Will not run. Tires a worthless. Seven thousand dollars of ****. Just call and complain and see if anyone cares. Nope. Cannot keep battery that works more than a summer. Nothing but trouble. Cannot get anyone west of the Mississippi to come to your house to service it. Must pull it in a trailer to get it serviced. Over all --junk. No one helps from Dixon, no one cares. Cannot wait until they go out of business. A sling blade would work better. Please get sheep or goats. Much more reliable.

PLEASE HELP! My husband is driving me crazy about Riding Mower

Sounds like the gear on top of the starter is stuck or broken. Inspect starter. If it's broken, the starter must be removed to replace the starter drive. You may need to buy a Starter Drive Kit. If you starter has a flat piece on top held on by a retaining ring, it's part # 696541. If you have the older type starter with roll pin holding the drive on, you need part # 696540. You probably have the first one. To install the retaining ring, use a 3/8 socket to tap it into the groove. Dwain
