I am the senior tech support person for Autopage. You will need to do 2 things. First you need to unplug the antenna and let it sit for a few seconds. Then plug it back in. Attempt to hit unlock on the remote. Next step is to completely reprogram the remotes. This can be done by turn the ignition ON 3 times, and then leaving it in the ON position. (ON/OFF, ON/OFF, ON) then press the RED VALET switch 2 times, and holding on the second push (push valet and release, then push valet and hold). Once the siren lets out a long chirp, then release the valet switch, and program the remote by hitting the LOCK button on the remote itself. Program all your remotes you have, until you have programed 4 remote controls into it. It will cancel any prior remote codes. If you still cannot get this correct, you can call my technical support office at 1-800-945-2527 x600. And i will walk you through it.

Ok. You don't tell us what year, make, or model the truck is, but I'm assuming it is a later model. They all come with integrated alarm and immobilizer systems installed. If you did not get an aftermarket adapter to disable the factory alarm system, then if the vehicle is started without the key it will shut off and alarm after 30 seconds. Once you used the key, you satisfied the manufacturers alarm system and then your remote start worked. You need to get a module specifically designed for your vehicle and alarm system to use with the Viper to make it work. They can be a real pain to get working correctly. Good luck!

Alarm problem on my 2001 elantra

This alarm system can only be 'disarmed' using the keyless remote programmed for this specific vehicle. Press the "Unlock" button on the keyless remote -- this resets/disarms the alarm system. If you do not have keyless remote for this vehicle, get one and have it programmed at a Hyundai Service Center. Problem solved.

Can not lock car by key remote . toyota rav 4 53 plate

If your car has an alarm with a separate remote, it is a separate system and it is probably self-arming. When you lock the doors with the key central lock, the alarm gets armed by the RAV4 being OFF and the door locking action. When you unlock the doors with the key, the alarm is still armed because the key is not comunicating with the alarm just the cars factory keyless system.
