Question about Motorola Mobility H700 Wireless Headset
Here is a detailed solution on how to pair your H700 headset with your phone;
STEP 1 You have to firstly put off the headset,by holding the call control button,which is the button on the face of the bluetooth,until the blue light turns red,as soon as the blue light turns red release the button.
STEP 2 After putting off the headset,wait for like 5 secs to ensure its completely off.when the device is off,you can now press and hold on the call control button for 5secs if its the first initial pairing,if it's not,then you have to hold on the call control button for 8seconds,afterwards the light should flash red then blue in both cases
STEP 3. At this point in time your headset is in discovery mode,and you have 60 seconds to pair it with your phone which should also be in the pairing mode as well.
To put your phone in the pairing mode,you have to put on the bluetooth of the phone which is found under the connectivity settings in the menu.
Your h700 headset and your phone are matched up and your problem is solved.
Thanks and take care

SOURCE: My Motorola H700 Will Not Pair
I have a sony ericsson W580i that I have been connecting with my motorola S9 for a few months. All of a sudden I started noticing the same problem to where it will not connect. After trying everything else, as a last resort I removed the battery and the SIM card, waited a minute and put it back on. WORKED LIKE A CHARM
Hope it helps

I have an LP vx8700 and want to pair it to my Motorola H700. All is good except the blue light on the ear piece will not stay on for very long. It keeps going out.

Depending on the phone... try and remove the current bluetooth device, if there is any. Close the headset. Go to the phone and choose discover, or search. Open the headset and press and hold the big button. It should then turn purple and should be recognized.
The boom should be open when you press the button.
Also make sure the battery on theheadset is charged before doing this.
The passkey will be 0000, four zeros.
