Question about Audio Players & Recorders

Open Question

I have a MOSMC139IPXI approx 18 months old, the problem I am encountering is that each time I try to use the cd tray it makes a motor noise but does not open the noise (motor) was lasting briefly when eject botton was pushed, now when the button is pushed the noise continues indefinately, only stopping when the system is turned off. what is the likely fault? how do I get it resolved?

SOURCE: Power button won't shut off

Did it reset O.K, ?
If not then sounds like a bad connection on the ON/OFF push button switch!!!
Probably you'll need to fit a new one.
Sorry.

SOURCE: my cd player (model dx-1800)

Hi djhartness

It will have a faulty load belt to the tray assembly. Not hard to replace if this in an Onkyo DX1800. You need to use a belt the same cross section as the one that has failed. If you need any help sourcing the part, just let me know. cheers

SOURCE: I have a Sharp CD-BA2650

There is a belt inside the cd changer that needs to be replaced. Once yo utake the top off the unit you will need to turn the unit on again and open the try. Once it is open look at the back area where the motor is located and you will find it under a circuit board. You need to lift the motor up by pushing the plastic clips that hold the board in place and pull it up a little and you will see how the belt is on the pully. It is very hard to describe how to do this in a forum like this, but if you are careful you should be able to do this.

The part number for the belt is:

92LBE231616

You can get the belt here:

I hope this helps, if so a FixYa! rating would be appreciated. After all, it is the only reward we get for offering people like yourself this free help.

Let me know if I can be of any more help.

NO NEED TO TEAR APART OR REPLACE THE UNIT! JUST TURN OFF THE UNIT, LEAN IT FORWARD AND A LITTLE DOWNWARD AND HIT THE LOAD BUTTON AND IT WILL OPEN. THAT'S THE TRICK!

Hi, what is the difference betwen the first stage and the second stage seat for buzz

Hi
For Quinny Buzz 2007-2010 model there are two seat fabrics. The infant stage seat fabric is a thicker, neoprene fabric for newborn babies up to approximately 18 months old. The 2nd stage seat fabric is a thick canvas type fabric which replaces the neoprene fabric and provides more space for an older child (approx 18 months to approx 3.5 yrs) Please contact us directly if you require additional assistance -

DVD tray makes noise when it rotates

This noise can be casued by two things:

1) The tray is not completely in the loaded position and the "clamper" is rubbing. Replace the loading belt and the loading sequence will complete and the noise should stop.

2) The "CD table" that is part of the spindle motor assembly has slipped a bit. This will make the CD/DVD ride too low and strike the lower tray support. This will require that the table be "re-aligned" to the proper height which may not be possible on your model without special measurement equipment. The height is critical to proper operation of the unit.

Try replacing the load belt first and report your results.

Thanks,
Dan

My ps2 's tray just continues to spit out the loading tray!!!

You have to take it partially apart again. Remove the Cd tray. Look at the bottom of the tray and you will see a narrow track that runs the length and turns an L. The white piece that is between the laser drive and the cd tray motor has a white tit sticking up. When you put the tray back on, be sure the tit tracks into the track on the bottom of the CD tray.
