Question about Cardiozone Supersport Hr Club Commercial Treadmill

1 Answer

My cardiozone treadmill will countdown for 3 sec, then start, run for 7 sec, and stop, showing error code E1. I have cleaned and lubricated, checked that all of the wires thru the handles and control board are still connected, checked the lights in the base (which are green). What else is there?

E1 error code

This usually means a faulty LCB or motor. The fact it has not been used much doesn't matter. It is 7 years old. Usually you can not see faulty parts on the LCB. I do think if you really want the answer call a treadmill repairer . If you don't know what you are doing it can be dangerous.

please adjust the REED switch, see the diagram attached. Clean it +test it for open or faulty+tight the connector very well.

However if the problem persist error code 3, this is a problem with the PCA memory location, RAM. the solution is to replace the PCA.

Try to RUN the software calibration for easy diagnostic, and fix it

E1 error code

Lets eliminate the motor first, unplug unit remove motor shroud fin the 2 leads from motor to lower board. Connect a 18v DC battery to the leads this start the motor to move at approx. 1 mph if it does motor is good,if not you may worn motor brushes worst case open connection in the motor.
Now if the motor is good then reconnection the leads and plug in unit the lower board should have some LEDs lit up. Now find the LED that says PWM start unit if that light should start to flicker then the upper board and wire harness are work properly. Turn off the treadmill then turn it on and with a multi meter insert the leads into the connectors that go to the motor, then put the meter on 200v DC then start the treadmill you should get a reading 5 to 10v DC if you get 0v DC then the board will need replacing

Model :ion treadmill 7.9t (bladez ) ,e1 error runs 7 sec and stop

E1 represents a speed sensor error. Remove the cover and the speed sensor is located alongside the top left roller/wheel. this wheel has a metal disk on it's side that the sensor counts each time it passes. Adjust the sensor as close to the metal disk as possible without making physical contact. Roll the wheel several times to ensure there is no contact. It was noticed on ours that the alignment of the sensor is not centered to the metal disk, and was reading the outside edge of the disk. Turn the sensor just a bit to read as musch of the disk as possible.
