Here is a web blog pertaining to your problem. The first blog describes the PF error coming up, and then turning into another error after they tried some things:
http://forum.doityourself.com/kitchen-laundry-large-electric-appliances/299820-error-code-f2-e1-kitchenaid.html
It could be that you can reseat the connector, or it could be a bad control board, but that would take some testing, to make sure it's not a bad thermostate control, etc.
A lot of people have had problems with Kitchenaid's ovens, and some problems have been settle by Kitchenaid. This site explains problems with the self-cleaning function that many have had:
http://www.ihfex.com/Wall-Ovens/Kitchenaid-Wall-Ovens/
This blog explained how one person had a problem with the self-cleaning function, and Kitchenaid replaced their unit:
http://www.epinions.com/reviews/KitchenAid_DBL_OVEN_T_C_OVER_T_C9
I would contact Kitchenaid, and see if there is a recall or some support they can provide. This is clearly a common problem with these units, and they haven't remedied it, from what I read.
Here is Kitchenaid's support page:

Good luck, thanks for using FixYa, and hope this helps.

Hello. You have an open rear oven thermostat causing the complete power failure of your unit. The part numbers you need are W10176670 for the upgraded blower and 9759243 for the thermostat. You will have to remove the oven from the wall in order to remove the back covers to access the thermostat and blower. The blower has been upgraded from 950cfm of airflow to 1200cfm. I have performed this service flash--you will definitely need a helper or 2 in order to pull the oven out and work on it. There is a service bulletin on your oven describing this exact situation. When you replace the thermostat and blower, re-mount the oven and then restore power, the oven will function and unlock. The link for the thermostat is here:
Thermal Overload Safety Thermostat

The link for the blower is here:

If you are hesitant about performing the repair yourself, definitely call for service. I hope this helps you!

My oven is always flashing PF what does that mean

"PF" stands for Power Failure. There should be a reset procedure in your user's manual. I cannot specify this since you don't give the manufacturer or model number of your oven.

Kenmore Elite c970-418091 wont work after self clean - Code f30

Here is a how it works post I{ wrote a little while back.:The oven temperature is regulated by a temperature sensor when placed in self clean the sensor is removed from the circuit and full power is applied to both the bake and broil elements causing an the temperature to exceed in some some models up to 1,000 F. I would recommend against using self clean for the simple fact that no oven cavity to this date has been designed to withstand that high of a temperature and therefore excess heat is passed upward resulting in damaged lock mechanisms, control boards, and other electronic components. With all that said you can try to cycle the controls by turning the breaker of the oven off for a few minutes the n turn it back on. It should then read PF which is normal. Press the cancel button and try it to see if it works. If not then you will need to replace the control board in the upper panel

KitchenAidKEBS107: NO HEAT after power failure during self clean

Thermostat on the back needs replacement. The problem is caused by overheating the oven. Improper installation or inadequate blower. Depending on the model, the oven might need a new blower in addition to the thermostat. Try calling KitchenAid to find out if the oven needs that blower and get the part number for the thermostat, they might have replaced it with the one with higher temperature rating.
